im in mandarin class right now. super mario kept me up last night. so now im sleepy and frustrated cos i couldnt go past level 2. 不公平！！！

whooo. 我跟老師已經練習好了。學中文很難過！不要了！我們的老師常常叫我。我不知道他為什麼不要較別的學生。

on other stuff, i have pe and accounting today. can you say BOOOORING?? I HATEEE ACCOUNTING. pe's okay cos we can get away with not doing anything.

midterms week's coming up. guess who's about to fail statistics, accounting, and transportation engineering? grar. demmit.

on the news today (from inquirer and cnn):

i miss blogging here. its been almost a year since i last posted. ive been flooding multiply though. :P ive been really concerned about my privacy the past year. too much hmmm.. excess baggage in my life then.:P

everything's okay now though. :) it just keeps on getting better. :)

ive never been this in love and i never thought id actually study engineering. [two completely different things, i know. :P]

school's still a bitch. :P i have engineering subjects plus statistics and math. hello ~~singko~~ uhh, 0? i dont know what grade you get if you fail here. that reminds me, i miss UP. my friends are graduating. deemmiiit.

i have stat class tomorrow. so do me a favor and kill me now. graaawr.

i still havent watched memoirs. :( boohoo.

we were supposed to watch memoirs after tita bebot's wedding last friday but we ended up going to malate instead. it was me, diane, liz, ate kaye, bea, matt d, matt r, mark d, mark m, andrew, ed, kuya mark, and julio. we left the hotel at a little past 11 and first went to pier one. ugh. that place sucks. and since most of us didnt want to stay there we went to malate. haha, the funniest thing happened:

kuya mark david and kuya mark marigomen asking the "receptionist" about the crowd in common ground...

kuya mark d: miss, madami na bang tao sa loob?
girl: oo.
kuya mark d: puno na?
girl: hindi naman, kasi 500 ung capacity ng common ground. eh hindi pa naman abot ng 500 ung nasa loob.
kuya mark d: may mauupuan pa?
girl: oo naman.
kuya mark: maganda ung crowd:
girl: yup. there are a lot of girls inside.
*the girl looks at kuya mark marigomen*
girl: and a lot of boys too.
kuya mark m: what the hell are you telling me that for?!
hahahaha!!

ayun. haha. it was soooo funny. then we went inside and had drinks and danced a whole lot. we left at a little past 3am and brought bea back to astoria then back to edsa shang. we stayed in the lobby and hung out for like 20 minutes or so. la lang, kwentuhan lang. hahaa. we bonded over a lot of simple and corny stuff. hehe. then my mom told kuya mark d to tell me to go to the room to sleep na cos it was so late (errr, early pala. early morning. hahahaa). so i did. kuya mark, kuya jeff, matthew d, kuya ed, liz, and diane went home. the rest of us stayed in the hotel. i woke up at around 7 or 8 cos mom was so noisy on the phone. we had breakfast with tita gina's family and tita marlo's family, tita susan and the marigomen kids. after that, julio and i watched over the datu kids in the swimming pool until tito melo came. i went back to our room to take a bath and pack up. we went home afterwards.

christmas day: it SUCKED. it was so lonely. we just slept when we got to don galo. on our way to fairview, dad was crying cos he missed mama a lot. mom and i were trying not to cry. we called seattle and got to talk to pa ge and gevgev. they just got back from the hospital. when we got to fairview, the oldies played mahjong and us kids played word factory. after dinner the ate kaye, ate tin, and andrew taught kuya jeff and i how to play mahjong!! oh its so fun!! i wanna play it all the time!! hahaha!!

yesterday until this morning: i woke up at 1pm, had lunch, went online, took a bath and dressed up. kuya mark, kuya allan, julio, and i went to shang to have dinner and meet up with the marigomens, matthew r and andrew, and bea. we went to decades in metrowalk to drink and dance. *again*. the boys left us to spot chicks outside and guess who they met- denise joaquin and her friend, juzi. ive always thought she was really pretty and a good actress. so we invited them to join us, they said they'd follow and so we went back to decades. after 30 minutes or so, they joined us. we were drinking and dancing and having so much fun! denise and juzi were so nice, and juzi is from UP also. at around 2:30, the lights went out and it was pretty scary so we decided to leave. but the fucking bouncers wouldnt let anyone out cos they werent sure who has paid or not, people were pushing already and we were demanding that they let us out then we settle who has paid or not outside cos it was a fire hazard. eventually the waiter told the bouncer that we were paid and that we could leave. the ones after us had to go through the same shit, the bouncer was so rude he was even cursing one customer. i mean, what kind of service do they have!?! fuck tlga. we went home afterwards.

so there. right now im in front of the computer. bored as always.

xmas is less than 3 hours away, and i still dont feel it.

and just so you know, thats a bad thing. cos i love christmas! :(

oh well.

still, eventhough our purchasing power is so low now that in a matter of years it would be nonexistent, we should still be thankful that we are alive.

God works in mysterious ways. sometimes you fall so hard, but when youve fallen down, theres no other way to go but up. and God sees to it that we do become better persons in the end.

why am i saying this?

cos mama nene's surgery wasnt as successful as we hoped it would be. there's still half of the tumor left on her brain cos it was too solid. theyre gonna have their noche buena in the hospital. it would seem that mama is so unlucky, right? but when you think about it, its quite the opposite. mama and papa migrated to the states just april of this year, and it was so sudden, then two months ago it was discovered that she has a brain tumor. just this month mama and papa were able to get financial assistance from the govt for 6 months, covering her medical expenses and living expenses, too. and kuyang and ate cham were able to leave manila and arrive in seattle just in time for the surgery. just imagine if they were still here, we wouldve used up all our money and it still wouldnt be enough to take care of her. it really boils down to how you see things. for some, her sickness is the whole picture. but for us, her family, its God doing His thing, making sure everything worked out in the end.
