Masaya pag nakikita mong masaya ang mahal mo sa buhay, at masaya sila pag nakikitang nagtatagumpay ka. Pero kung ikaw lang at ang tagumpay - Pangit! Walang kwenta.

naalala ko nung retreat nmin, ayaw na ayaw ko na ako na ung magsha2re kasi nakakahiya, na nakakalungkot na ewan. pero nung turn ko na, eto lang ung nasabi ko..

"Lhat ng material na things na gusto nmin, bnbgay naman nila. pero ung tlgang klangan nmin, wala."

yuck, drama noh? pero totoo un. ngayon, mas grabe pa. kasi 2 na ung company ni dad, at si mom naman, MP na. ang kaibahan lang, mas naiintindihan ko na ngayon.

sometimes, the way we see things arent always what they really are. we see things the way we want to see them. its just a matter of seeing things in a different light, perhaps adding a cup of understanding too.

ive always wanted to be more than what i am, to do better, to be great. not for me, but for my parents. not so they would be pleased with me, but so i could show them how grateful i am for them. and although my parents arent always supportive of my endeavors (eg running for cas-sc), and although they werent always there to see my triumphs and witness my hardwork paying off, its okay. because i know, even without those triumphs, they love me. they might not show it the way i want them to, but again, its okay because i know they do love me. it did take me years to realize that, but the juice was definitely worth the squeeze.. :)
